  • Step 1: Get in touch

Contact us to tell us a bit about your four-legged friend(s) and any dates you’d like us to cover so we can check our diary.

    Get in touch

  • Step 2: Meet and Greet

We offer a free, no obligation meet and greet service so that you can get to know us, and we get to know your four-legged friend(s) too.

You can come to us, or we can come to you (within 15 miles).

  • Step 3: Sleep Over

For all stays of 3 nights or more we arrange a trial 1 night sleep over in advance of your holiday. It gives your dog(s) a chance to get to know us before he/she has a longer stay - it helps them to feel at home when they stay with us for longer periods, and gives you peace of mind too.

  • Step 4: Happy Holidays

You can go away knowing that your four-legged friend is already part of the family. Your dog(s) will follow their own personalised programmes, so you can rest assured knowing that whilst you’re having fun on holiday, your dog will be one happy hound too.

Health

We want to make sure that your four-legged friend is healthy and happy. We run through any health conditions and medications with you in advance. We also ask that all dogs are fully vaccinated, and treated for flea/worms prior to their stay. We always put your dogs health first and will contact you about any health concerns.

Exercise

Every dog is different. We discuss their health, behaviour, training and personalities to work out a suitable exercise programme with you. We provide x2 walks a day (minimum), or alternative enrichment activities if mobility is limited. We love to take our 'happy hounds out and about on mini adventures too.

Socialisation

Just like us humans, we appreciate not all dogs get on. As part of our meet and greet we take the time to understand your dog’s likes and dislikes. We also introduce them to the resident Happy Hound, Bella, (a 4 year old beagle). We only take in a maximum of 3 dogs at any one time so your dog can relax in good company.

Food

Your dogs diet is as important to us as it is to you. We run through any allergies, routines and quantities at our meet and greet session. We ask that you provide enough food for the duration of their stay so that we can follow your dogs normal routine and (hopefully!) avoid any upset stomachs too.

Enrichment

All dogs need mental stimulation, and our Happy Hounds love nothing more than play time! Our games vary depending upon the dog and the weather, and range from teaching your dog to ‘high five’, to a game of tug or a nice frozen Kong.

Rest

There’s nothing better than after a hard day’s play to collapse in a nice comfy bed. We encourage you to bring your dogs own bed so that they feel right at home. We also make sure they get lots of cuddles too.
